Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends and family and all those in the bloggy world!
We are headed to Amish Country for Thanksgiving dinner. I'm looking forward to homemade dishes prepared by the loving hands of Uncle Jamie's family. Our contribution will be deep-frying the turkey and possibly a pecan (pronounced puh-khan) pie. We are also making oreo truffles, but we may be pigs and keep those for ourselves.
The peeps are having so much fun with cousin Taz. They are trying to figure out exactly how much clothing to wear to bear the cold weather. They started with long sleeved t-shirts and quickly added mittens and hats. They thought that would be enough, but they have since returned to the house for jackets.
Big Daddy and Uncle Jamie went hunting at 4 am. They just called with news of a fabulous hunt. They both limited out on geese. Canadas, I think. Christmas goose, anyone? (No seriously, all of this will be eaten.)
Happy Thanksgiving to you all! May the Lord's Blessings be yours all year long!

My husband also enjoyed several days of hunting this week. We now have a freezer full of food. It's a lot of work, but he enjoys it so much that the work is worth it to him. I, however, stay far away from the work. :)
Glad the toothpaste worked.
Happy Thanksgiving!
